The GLS was tested for some days now.

I’ve simulated 115 servers for a mass test.

DFLS and HHC are connected to the GLS since Tuesday without any connection problems.

I think we can start a public beta soon.

I’m happy to announce that I’ve completed the software last night.

First tests ran smoothly but I’ll start some bigger tests soon.

I’ve started yesterday to rewrite the GLS in another programming language.

I’m happy to say that it’s nearly done .. I would say it’s done about 98% and should be finished during the next days.

Sadly there are no new news on the DNS matters.

I’ve heard from several people that there will be special rules for the GLS etc.

There won’t be any “joining” rules for the GLS and no servers will be blocked from the GLS list.

It will just work as the original one did without any human intervention.

I’ll start the publication of this site in some hours/days.

You remember Schultzky in the first mission?

The name was taken from “Otto Schultzky” a German SF book author who has written “Im Saturnsystem” in the year 1913.

I’ve decided to change the goal of this blog a bit.

The Freelancer List Server is done about 85%.

There is an existing demo which will work for one server and x clients.
The last thing missing is the saving of the servers.

I’m currently trying to get the original DNS from Microsoft so there would be no need to change the DNS in the freelancer.ini
